More Sketchins!

I may have become a deviantart whore but by jeebus, I don't indeed to abandon this blog.

Also, DA can be a pain in the arse when it comes to submitting work either by the fact that sometimes it takes ages for the image to process, to the mods and admins being all picky as to what catagory you're supposed to place your images in.

So call this blog a mine a home away from home. Until I do a bit of website building that is.

Sketch Plan; Round 1

So I'm finally inspired, and ready to get down to some serious bznz in character design. I have at least two comics in my mind, in the works and reading up on some serious Will Eisner tutelage.

Enjoy my first bout of experimental sketches. Some designs aren't permanent though I love my emo dragon. More to come soon. ;)

Beginnings...

Hey all.

God, I am so sick of saying "Ooooo it's been a while hasn't it?" Toss. But yes it has since I posted.....here.
I'm not entirely used to keeping a blog anymore to be honest. Must be from the shame when I kept my old blogs and would bleed my heart out in all of them from time to time.

Anyways what's been going on? Well, I've been getting into webcomics again, and trying out a new way to get my art across I suppose. It's funny how you wait and wait, after months of leaving university and then BAM! Inspiration hits you to get up off your fat arse to do something innit?
A lot of things had been hitting me recently. Some of them personal. But I shan't go into it here. I can't think of how to peice it all together. Which shows I haven't written long lengthy sentences in a long while. My mind slips....and I refuse to believe it's because I'm now 26.

Basically this is a Sketch Blog, so as well as my current deviantArt accounts you'll be seeing some sketches, SOME I shall add completely new up here.
Because my sketchblog exists for a reason.

So it begins...

So yes, this is my first official artists blog. Ignoring all the past blogs that resided on livejournal.com and....oh wait, can't remember the other one. Ah the days of my youth spent vexxing and angsting online on journal pages and old blogs.

Heh, I'd like to imagine they're all gone now. And considering at the end of this week my exhibit will be going public and my Illustration degree will be pretty much complete by october I'm pretty much opening a new window after closing an old one so to speak.

If I can and when I can soon, expect this blog to be updated shortly.
